Instead, we have the breaking news that LeBron James has given up. Not on his career, but in the barbershop, as this image he shared on his Instagram story on Tuesday appears to show that he has completely shaved his head.

Does that imply that LeBron is now going entirely bald after years of attempting to stop that hairline from its unceasing retreat, just like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant?

Actually, not quite. Before his final season with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017, he also uploaded a video of himself fully bald. Naturally, once the season began, LeBron had his regular hairstyle, which he has kept for around ten years.

However, that article from 2017 was published in June, about 3 months before the start of the 2017–18 season's media day and training camp.
