Conor McGregor reacts to Nate Diaz’s UFC 279 win: ‘You’re nothing without me’

Unlike other nights, Conor McGregor didn't spend his Saturday night (Sept. 10, 2022) live-tweeting UFC 279.

The news from the event, which took place inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada,  was being followed by "The Notorious," including Nate Diaz's remarks about the sensitive Irishman.

The Stockton, California, fighter said he was quitting the UFC to compete under his own promotional company, Real Fight Inc.,

following his significant fourth round submission victory against Tony Ferguson (see highlights here)

Although it's unclear what combat sports regulations he'll participate under, Diaz stated that he intended to demonstrate how it's done to the rest of the UFC roster.

In his post-fight win interview, he stated, "I want to leave the UFC for a moment and teach all these UFC guys how to take over and own up another sport, how you're meant to do it.

Because Conor McGregor was unable to perform it properly. It didn't take McGregor long to answer.

"Come on, dude, I stink to high heaven. And of such high quality," McGregor tweeted. "What I'm doing, dude, has never been seen before.
